6 Feb 2006 - Animation at Gylemuir
Pupils from a number of stages in our school have been working to make some amazing animation films.
We have enjoyed some wonderful film premiers in our Dance and Drama base watching these films.

Pupils have been involved in all stages of production - from making storyboards, modelling the characters, filming the animation through to editing the film and adding soundtracks. Some of the films even feature special songs and music composed by out pupils, using Garage Band, with the help of Mr Kay.
All pupils will have the opportuinity to become involved in film making in school - either animation or using video cameras. P6 are currently beginning a project in conjuction with Scottish Screen. This will involve pupils in learning more about the techniques of film making. Look out for their fims which should be coming along soon.
