P4 Spring 2009

As part of our Health Week activities both P4 classes took part in a Spring Walk. Here we see pupils examining some of the evidence they collected during their walk.

This term our main topic has been The Vikings.  We have been learning that Vikings were not only raiders but traders and settlers as well. Here we can see two pupils hard at work designing a Viking board game. 

Both P4 classes very much enjoyed their visits to The National Museum of Scotland.  We visited Viking School, where although dressed as Vikings, we were still able to demonstrate that we are responsible citizens.  We also really enjoyed handling many Viking artefacts and looking at Viking exhibits.  Some pupils even said that this was the best school trip that they had ever been on!
